Should i by my friend a new camera?

I handed my friend her camera and we both drooped it now she said i drooped it and she wants me to buy her a camera, I told her I will take her camera to a shop to get it fixed but she already bought a new one. I told i wouldn't help her till i saw that her camera was actually broke and it didn't work. But she just bought a new one and now she is mad i won't help her get a new one. Should i help her or is she wrong
