Cant tell if this is a UTI or not...?

Today I got my period. I've had UTIs in the past...but this morning I woke up from a burning sensation and an urge to pee. I thought, "oh god, not this again!!". So when I got to work I chugged a bunch of water and the pain subsided and I was able to go again normally. Now as Im sitting here typing, I kind of feel the pain coming back...what should I do? Is it a UTI?

Considering you used the pull-out method, there is a low chance of pregnancy. Your missed period could be due to stressing out over the situation. Also, a negative pregnancy usually means what it shows: negative. If you really are pregnant, you may have taken the test too early or incorrectly. Touching the sample collection section won't make the test negative. The only likely way to take a pregnancy test incorrectly is to not get enough urine on it. Try another test, but take it in the morning with your first morning pee. (It's supposed to have the more of the hormone in it) if you remember which day you had some spotting, look up an ovulation calculator, and see if it were within a week after ovulating. If so, then it was more than likely implantation bleeding. I honestly don't think you are, but keep in mind that I am not a health care provider. Also: don't convince yourself you are, it will only make it seem like the symptoms are really there. Good luck! :)

Rev Fred Phelps was forced to pay 11 million dollars when his anti gay church protested at a soldiers funeral with signs saying "soldiers die, god laughs", "god hates fags", "god hates america", and "god loves dead soldiers". The only people i could see god hating is these contradictory hypocritical jackes. I don't believe god hates anyone, for we all make mistakes and fighting for your country is no mistake, and we are all his children and he loves us.I don't think he luaghs when someone dies, rather, i think he cries. If you are talking to her, I don't understand the question. If she wants to talk to you about her life and personal problems, all you can do is make yourself available. If that does happen, you have to be genuine and ready for what is coming up yourself. If things are truly as you say, the last thing she needs is someone who lets her start to open up and then you either run away or fall to pieces so badly that she has to turn the tables and be YOUR support. Don't push yourself on her. I do find it admirable that you are considering your friend in the context that you are. It's a complicated situation and there are many adult who fail to recognize when a friend is having problems or is facing potential problems AND want to offer support. Just be gentle, be real and be patient. Realize also, if she may just lean on you if you allow her too and then "drift away" again as she gets her composure back. Do not take it personally and end up making her an enemy or someone to fight with down the road because you feel like she used you and dumped you when she no longer needed you- that is exactly what may happen. OR you could end up with a best friend for life! Either way, in my opinion you are a winner

Question about these 2 jobs?

So I'm trying to decide between being a Dietitian/Nutritionist or Acupuncturist. I'm not looking at which one makes the most money or which has more opportunities or is higher in demand. I would just like to know which is harder to do and which seems like it would be more enjoyable and easier to have and pursue a career in. I don't particularly like maging, so is that involved a lot in acupuncture? I'm a little interested in Oriental medicine. I'm also not really math or science savvy. I'm also not really into cooking, but I think good nutrition is important and I like eating healthy most of the time. So is cooking something you have to know or be good at to be a dietitian? i am trying to find three specific effects for compiz that i so far have had no luck finding. i am running ubuntu 9.10 i have install the compiz manager i have the cube and all that stuff enables. i even added the unsupported plugins from synaptic after adding the third party ppa: but i watch demos on compiz. and thare are three effects that i want and cant find. one. is the water effect that happens when moving windows. not the draw water on the screen and make it rain effect. i have that. the one when you move a windows and let go of the mouse it makes like a spash effects with ripples coming of the window. i also seen another effect ware you can acualty take multiple windows and stick them together to move thme all at once. and i also seen one that you can acualy flip an indavidual window over. and have a seperate one on the back. Hot flashes on Clomid or Provera???

I took Clomid this month (100mg) and since then I have had the worst case of sweating and "hot flashes" imaginable. Several times a day and at night, I get totally drenched with sweat. I also take Provera to start my periods. Is this a common side effect of either of these drugs? My doctor only mentioned possible ovarian cysts with the Clomid. I finished the Clomid 2 weeks ago, and while actually taking the pills, I did not have hot flashes, only after I finished them. Anybody else have this happen?

I am discovering Buddhism for myself all over again and have some questions about it. I ask respectfully, please do not be offended, but can the Buddha's plan for the cessation of suffering be contradictory. In the Four Noble Truths, the Buddha says that suffering can be stopped by stopping desire. In order to stop desire we need to follow the Noble Eightfold Path. But, in order to do this, we must have the desire to follow the Path. So we have desire, and despite how good our intentions are, it is still desire. We must have some sort of commitment to the practice of meditation and, despite saying otherwise, we have a desire to achieve inner peace for ourselves and all of the universe. Can anyone explain?

The true way to tell is to take it to a bow shop and have your draw length measured. I am sure there is some adjustment to the bow and if it is not enough you can probably get new moduals for the cams that will do the trick. Feel horrible....?

I feel horrible. My husband and I tried so hard for a baby, had such a tough time of it and felt so blessed to have our daughter, and motherhood isn't at all what I expected or hoped. Our daughter is perfectly healthy but has infant reflux and colic. She cries ALL the time and nothing I do seems to console her for very long. We're trying to get to the bottom of this, going to the doctor, trying medications and changing her formula. I carry her everywhere and rock her and swaddle her and sing to her...nothing helps and I'm so burnt out. Today I felt aweful for just putting her down and walking away for awhile...I'm alone all day and feel so frustrated. She won't nap and I can't even take the time to eat without holding her. I feel like a bad mom, I love her more than life but I am feeling resentful, particularly because my friends seem to have happy babies and I have such a miserable little thing! Any tips to get through this? I know it will end but she's only a month old now.

First of what I read from you is a lot of red flags in your sentences. The biggest problem about yourself is not your weight or something alike. It's your negative thinking in each sentence. Even if it isn't pneumonia, take the antibiotics.... they will 'kill' whatever it might be, and you will feel better. it's a yucky (cool medical term!!) disease and hard to shake - you need the antibiotics in your system so it can start feeling better... I was flat on my back for 18 days with pneumonia and once you get it - you will always be more susceptible to it in the future...(or so they tell me - and I am smoker which of course makes it more likely!!!). Does your drive have U3? you could try removing that. I'd suggest a simple format of your usb, right click on it in my computer and select format, don't do a quick format, but format it to NTFS, then back to Fat32. Changing the formatting will wipe it out if it is on the drive.

1989 mariner 50 hp outboard idle problem?

hello. I have a 1989 4 cylinder 50hp outboard boat motor. It runs fine when you give it gas, but when you put it back into idle, it will run for about 20 seconds and then will kill out unless you give it more gas. What could this problem be? Also, is there any other oil for the engine other than the lower unit oil? Thank you

How is Jesus the same as the God of the old testament?

When I call myself a Christian it means I follow the teachings and attitudes of Jesus. The problem is that Jesus teachings directly contradict the law of the old testament. People all around the world say they are Christian but do they follow Jesus or are they just religious. In northern Ireland not that long ago protestants and catholics were murdering each other in the name of Christ. These people claim to be Christians but their action show they are children of Satan. I want to know how sane rational individuals who claim to love Jesus can believe HE is the same God as the old testament god. The God of the old testament was clearly hypocritical. He said thou shalt not murder. He said thou shalt not commit adultery. Then he said if someone commits adultery thou shalt brutally murder them by beating them to death with stones. this god is not Christ he is antichrist. He said if someone is gay they shall be killed. He told the jews to commit m genocide over and over again. he instructed the jews to kill women and little children and spare no life. Jesus would never do these things. Jesus would never command His people to commit atrocities. The Old testament clearly teaches bigotry of every kind. the Old Testament teaches that women are to be dominated and mastered by men. The Old testament law clearly stipulates that female laborers should be paid less than male laborers. The Old testament teaches the oppression of women very much like Islam teaches that women are merely the property of men. The Old testament treats women the same way as radical Islamic terrorists treat women. I was taught that as a child that the Bible is the perfect word of God and contains no errors. I was taught that everyone who wrote, translated, and compiled the books of the bible were all perfectly inspired of the Holy Spirit and they made no mistakes. When I ask pastors and bible teachers exactly who these inspired men were they have no idea they just accept the umption that they were perfectly inspired. The problem with this umption is that the New Testament teaches that everyone who accepts Jesus as their savior is filled with the Holy Spirit unfortunately these Holy spirit filled christians make mistakes on a daily bases which proves that even people inspired by the Holy Spirit constantly make errors and commit sin. This means that even if everyone who put together the bible was inspired of the Holy Spirit they would still make mistakes and malign the message. Humans cannot write a perfect book. Not even with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. It is impossible. My pastor is inspired of the Holy spirit but he still sin and makes mistakes and has his own biases and prejudices and so did the people who wrote the bible. The only books of the Bible I base my faith on are the ones about Jesus. I have seen what happens to Christians who read the Old Testament too much they become a bunch of hyper religious, judgmental, angry, hateful, hypocritical, bigoted pharisees. These christians would stone people to death if they could get away with it but they can't so they stone people figuratively by judging them and damning them to hell publicly. they become just like the pharisees who Jesus could not tolerate. The new Testament ways God is love. Love does not stone people to death. Love does not commit or incite genocide and the murder of women and children. Love is not a hypocrite. Love does not know how to kill. the old testament says to "Fear God" The New Testament says perfect love casts out all fear. the old testament god wants you to fear because he is really satan in disguise as god. The new testament God Jesus Christ casts out all fear. he tells you "I love you" he says"I forgive you". The only sin Jesus ever said was unforgivable was the sin of not forgiving others. Jesus clearly said if you don't forgive others you will not be forgiven. The only laws Jesus commanded us to follow are 1) Love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and strength and (2) Love your neighbor as yourself. this is exactly the opposite of the Old Testament God who gave people an unbearable burden of thousands of excessive laws they could never possibly follow. Jesus teaches LOVE the god of the old testament only teaches legalism which creates pharisees who are killers like their father the devil. I realize having this view makes me an apostate heretic. but I would rather go to hell for loving people than go to heaven for judging people. I would rather go to hell for the right reason than go to heaven for the wrong reason. Who wants to go to a heaven full of Pharisees and legalistic haters. If youre adoptiong these kids and not fostering them, I think calling you mommy is ok.. because you are their adopted mom....But if you are just fostering them and they will be going to another home eventually, I would try to refrain from letting them use the word mommy unless of course they want to... It's up to the children and I don't see anything wrong with it as long as its what they want to call you. ... I was diagnosed with pcos in may of 2010.. since then i have been prescribed provera 10mg taken for 7 days the third week of the month, to induce my period as i dont ovulate, just this august i was prescribed clomid 50mg taking on cycle days 5 to 9.. between September 14 to 19th, I was suppose to take ovulation test to see when i would ovulate, those tests are soo confusing, it tells you several different things about the 2 lines, and not thinking about it on the 16th and 17th of this month I had 2 lines,which im uming indicate ovulation, cuz i had left side cramps for days before that.. my husband and I had before that and the Saturday after, is there a good chance that I would get pregnant this month, as i took the clomid and the provera last month and have not taken any of the meds this month.. I got bloodwork done this morning to test my progestrone levels, is this the doctor trying to see if we succeeded in getting pregnant?! I guess with my medical background, I feel i have to research and look into things when it comes to something like this, has this ever happened to any of you?! Has anyone ever been in this situation and found out they were pregnant first time around, as I will be unable to try for the month of October because I have not taken any of the pills this month.

For one thing, my hair grow fast and I never go and get it trim, no no no do not listen to the so call salon people, by using common sense you know your hair better than everybody, So i suggest not getting it trim again for a long time until you get the lenght you want then get a trim 1/2 inch will do and use lots of conditoners (good) and leave on for 10 minutes and try to blow dry at low settings you are just going to have to lest grow out and bear with it use some hairstyles for pulling it back with a clips or something too

Ladies, my sister is causing an awkward situation?

I am a 22 year old male and my 19 year old sister lives in my apartment with me. She goes to the same college as me and is very good looking. She has always played volleyball and soft ball and is in great shape. I mention is because this what make this situation so jacked up. The problem is around the house she dresses so skimpy. Scared of public schools?

I've been to private school, public school and I've been homeschooled. Out of the three I think the best for me academically and emotionally was private school. In private school you have less students so they get the attention and help they need to succeed. It is more organized and there are more rules, at my school it was literally impossible to skip any cles. I was on honor roll every year and I made really good friends. At public school my grades declined because the teachers were not qualified and nothing was organized. I corrected my math teachers mistakes almost daily. There are more people and it is harder to make close friends. Most kids I know who went to public school were drinking and doing drugs every weekend by the time they were freshmen, but my private school friends never even tried it. They had really good morals and did not fall into peer pressure as easily. I hated public school. Finally I did homeschool and if you want your child to learn anything at all then do not choose this, it is easy to cheat and you can sleep through your online cles, your teachers wont even know. Online quizzes are easy because you can take it and see what you missed then click back and retake it and get 100% and submit it. I learned absolutely nothing from homeschool except the daily tv lineup. I lost a lot of friends and missed out on experiences like homecoming and dances and football games. All in all, private school is the best for your children. It will teach them morals, keep them safe, teach them all they need to know to succeed in life, and they will make life long friends.

I think it is kind of funny when they announce drug bust on local news or in the news paper. And the reason I make this statement is that if we were serious about winning this war on drugs, we'd go after the big king pins, instead of the guy who is seller on the streets, or the druggies they are sold to! Started to bleed at 14 weeks pregnant?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and everything has been fine so far with this pregnancy. Well, yesterday afternoon when I went to the restroom and wiped there was a good bit of pink blood on the toilet paper. I immediately called my doctor and she had me come in and she checked my cervix and she said it was still closed and she did an ultrasound on the baby and all was fine..heart rate was 162. Baby was movin and groovin in there...=) So she tells me that she thinks everything is fine and sends me home. I'm still having the dark pink, light red bleeding..only when I go to the restroom and it's only on the paper. So my question is..has anyone gone through this before and if so what was the outcome? Can a hunch back be cured?

Ok i'm not talking about a MAJOR hunch, i slouch a little bit sometimes, it used to be a lot worse when i was younger, im 17 now and it's getting a lot better. It really makes me insecure, its not super noticeable, but sometimes when im on the computer, or when im sitting down it is. I recently got a fitness trainer too, and im hoping that will help. Open your windows and hit computer and see if you have a restore, that may be your only option. Head injury 2yr ago some drooping of face and partial paralysis is this normal?

2 yrs ago I was hit in the temple on the rt side of the head. Knocked unconcious for several hrs. A CT scan showed bleeding 5 days later and I was told to watch for further symptoms. Because of the swelling and location of injury I expected to have some symptoms for a time. However it has been almost 2yrs since the accident and I have a "droopy" right eye {my eyes have been checked since accident with 20/20 vision} i have an almost constant headache over the right eye and a "full" feeling over the upper right quadrant of the face. From the cheekbone to the upper orbit. I saw ENT and Neurologist with different opinions from both. One diagnosis "post head head injury with no complications" from Neuro and ENT with post closed head trauma with complications. It seems neither knew what to do. A friend suggested I could have damaged the nerve and when sinus pressure builds it affects it. Any suggestions?

Symptons of pregnancy? Help..?

In all honesty, if you are pregnant, you are too early on to be having those symptoms as things related to pregnancy. Nausea doesn't usually occur until around 6 to 8 weeks pregnancy. Don't get too caught up in the emotions thing either because that could just be a symptom of pms, especially if you are getting worked up about the possibility of being pregnant. Sometimes we trick ourselves into thinking that we have symptoms that we aren't having, or we look for things and we want it to be because of pregnancy. I'm not suggesting that you're not. You could have a very sensitive system, and these could all be pregnancy related. These are symptoms that are common in pregnancy. I just think that it's too early for these things to be pregnancy related when you haven't even missed your period yet. The best thing that you can do is wait it out a couple of days and take a pregnancy test. Be sure that you take it first thing in the morning. Good luck to you!
