Why is she mad at me just because of a flat tire?

so i pick up my girl from the trailer park, driving my fly '74 LTD (with 8 track player and shag carpet on the dash). a few miles down the road, i have a flat...so i coast off to the side of the road. she's just staring at me, not doing anything. finally, after a few seconds, i say "why are you staring at me? get out there and change that tire!". she tells me she doesn't know how, and starts crying. so i change the tire..the rest of the night she is mad at me. i offered her a dip of copenhagen as a peace offering, but she was not pacified...now she won't return my calls. what did i do wrong? do you think that maybe she's a skoal kind of girl and i offended her?
